Stephanie L Dixon DDS

Dr. Stephanie Dixon received a Biology degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in May of 1996. In June, 2001 she received her Doctor of Dental Science Degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, School of Dentistry. There she was awarded with multiple honors for her care of children, including the school’s top honor.


Stephanie completed her Pediatric Dental training at the University of California at Los Angeles where she served as the Chief Resident of the department. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.


Stephanie is very involved with philanthropy, both locally and throughout the world. She sits on the board of the YMCA in San Diego, and has helped raise funds for to build the new Copley YMCA.



Stephanie volunteered with the California Dental Association’s “CDA Cares” program  in San Diego which helped treat the underserved population of San Diego that was in desperate need of dental care.                           


Stephanie also volunteers with International Health Emissaries,  bringing much needed dental care to the underprivileged children of the third world.

           


Stephanie married Dr Eric Dixon in 2004, and enjoys raising her family in San Diego, visiting friends and family in Reno, NV and traveling around the world.

Eric H. Dixon DDS

Dr. Eric Dixon is a San Diego native and a Torrey Pines High School alumnus. He earned a BS degree in Neurobiology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN in May of 1998. In June, 2001 Eric received his Doctor of Dental Science Degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco and was recognized with the school's top honor for treatment of pediatric patients.


Eric completed his Pediatric Dental training at the University of California at Los Angeles, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.


Eric currently serves as the treasurer and on the Executive Committee as a board member for the San Diego County Dental Society as well as the Southern Director and Board Member of the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry

Eric is also on the UCSD Share the Care Dental Advisory Board and is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UCSD.


Eric also volunteers with International Health Emissaries,  bringing much needed dental care to the underprivileged children of the third world.

           


Eric married Dr. Stephanie Dixon in 2004, and enjoys spending time with his two sons, working on his home, and soccer.

Jenna McDonald DDS

Dr. Jenna McDonald was born and raised in San Diego where she graduated from Point Loma High School.  At the University of California, Davis she received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in biology and a minor in psychology.  She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California, Los Angeles where she was awarded the school’s top honor for treatment of children. 


Jenna then completed her Pediatric Dental training at the University of Southern California where she was named Outstanding Resident of the Year.  While at USC, she worked at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Children’s Hospital Orange County and Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach.  She is currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.


    Jenna’s passion for pediatric dentistry has taken her around the world to provide care to disadvantaged children in Romania, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, running and hiking.  On the weekends, you can find her at Dog Beach with her husband, Colin, and their golden retriever, Bodey.


Jenna and Colin have a beautiful daughter, Ava, and are thrilled to start their family in San Diego.

Breanne Reid DDS

Dr. Breanne Reid’s passion is that all children have good oral health and have a good experience and relationship with their dentist.  She was motivated by her own experience with her pediatric dentist as a child and adolescent to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry. 


Dr. Breanne Reid received a Biology degree from Penn State University in May 2002, where she graduated with the honor of Highest Distinction.  In May 2006, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland.  She was then commissioned as an Officer in the United States Navy in June 2006 and went on to received a certificate for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Naval Medical Center, San Diego in June 2007.  She served as a Dental Officer at Marine Corp Air Station, Miramar and at Marine Corp Recruit Depot in San Diego, from June 2007 until June 2010.  


Because of her interest in pediatric patients, she worked with the Pediatric Dentist at Naval Medical Center San Diego to help treat children with special health care needs.   She also participated in the Thousand Smiles Foundation Mission Trip to Ensenada, Mexico in August 2009.  Locally, she volunteered at the St. Leo Dental Clinic from 2009 to 2010 to help provide treatment to children in need of dental care.  


Dr. Breanne Reid completed her Pediatric Dentistry residency at the University of California Los Angeles, San Diego CHAT program located at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA in July 2012.  Breanne was awarded the Pugh Award for her written American Board of Pediatric Dentistry exam score, which was in the top 3% of all candidates taking the exam in 2012.  She became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2014 after successful completion of her oral board examination.  


Breanne continues to advocate for children’s oral health by providing educational visits to Head Start Centers, Mom groups, and professionals that see mothers and young children in the community.


Breanne has been married to Dr. Keith Reid for 10 years and they are proud parents of their 7 year old son, Ezra Reid.  Breanne and her family are very active and enjoy the outdoors and traveling around the world.  She also is a competitive runner, placing first in her age group in multiple marathons and completing the Boston Marathon three times.
